Dr Zach Pang is a Group Leader at A*STAR’s Bioprocessing Technology Institute and Senior Scientist at the Bioinformatics Institute, driving digitalization in biomanufacturing. His research focuses on mechanistic and process modeling of bioprocesses. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NUS and NTU.

His cross-disciplinary interest began during his Mechanical Engineering studies at NUS, where he researched cancer cell mechanics. He later earned a PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College London under the A*STAR Scholarship. Zach also holds an MBA (Quantic) and a postgraduate certificate in higher education (University of London).

He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng, UK), Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA, UK), and MIPEM member.
